VGIF…. Making a Difference

World population is over 6 billion people, the majority of whom are women in developing countries who live in poverty. Gender disparities in economic power-sharing, in education, and access to adequate health care – all contribute to the oppression of these women.

VGIF is meeting the seemingly insurmountable challenges of combating poverty and achieving gender equality in developing countries. Our members are making a difference.

Thanks to the generosity of our contributing members and donors, VGIF provides grants for grassroots projects that empower women and girls in developing countries. Through these life-empowering grants, VGIF realizes its mission.
